Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also an acrobat and songwriter. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". While she is a performer but her main passion is music. According to her, music is always been her primary love. As she grew to the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she made her first collection of cover songs. From that point on, there's been never a moment to rest. Orrantia was raised in the USA but holds Hispanic origins. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic origins, although she was raised in English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs she tries to keep the culture alive. One such song is "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia had been picked by a panel of YouTube videos and received four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week of the live program.
