Hayley is an American actor and singer. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. The main focus of her is a performer. Music, according to her, is the first thing she enjoys. She began playing with it at age nine. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12. When she was 13, she started creating songs. Her debut album at 14 years old. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of her fact that she has Hispanic roots, even though she was raised using English only and never lived in Mexico. She hopes to protect it through the creation of Spanish songs and learning the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she received four "yeses" which is a vote for the judges during the Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were put into a group for the rest of the auditions. Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
