Hayley is an American performer and actress. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". But she is primarily musician. Music was always her first obsession. At the age 12, she had taken music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. After some experimentation with songwriting, she only recorded her album of covers at the age of 14. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia is a native of America and has Hispanic roots. Though she's never spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic roots. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs and taking classes in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she's recorded is an example. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen from an YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" vote from judges at the time of live auditions in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, in the course of "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live program.
